 Welcome! 

My name is Angie. I am a 5th-grade teacher who has been teaching for 15+ years. I look forward to traveling after retirement, and if travel interests you, then I hope you will love this blog! 

I am happily married. I have two grown sons from a previous marriage, and a beautiful, spunky 4-year-old granddaughter. I have a wonderful stepson and an amazing daughter-in-law who live in Colorado. My husband and I live in Houghton Lake, Michigan, with our two dogs, Ollie and BB. 

Our Family

Until I retire, most of this blog will include adventures in Michigan. I will also write articles about other locations when I have opportunities to travel. Some of the things you will see on this blog will be articles about festivals, restaurants, and points of interest in Michigan. I will also be including articles about travel tips. 

Throughout most of my life, I never had many opportunities to travel. Most of my traveling experience was visiting family in Indiana and Kentucky. A few years ago, I met my husband, who has traveled extensively. He loves to travel, and he introduced me to so many new things through travel. I was HOOKED! After I retire, we plan to move into an RV and travel for a few years, living on the road! I am looking forward to the adventure! I would love for you all to come along for the ride!
